Mission
Hi! We’re the Guerreras de EHS. Our school has a new name this year: Eastside High School! We’re located in East Los Angeles, CA. We have approximately 260 students from 9-12th grade. East Los Angeles is home to the largest Mexican American community in the United States. Our community has a strong sense of identity and place, where we celebrate culture, and participate in local initiatives.
Guerreras' mission aims to improve mental health and stress management by teaching students healthy coping mechanisms and ways to express themselves. Providing hands-on activities and a supportive community environment will engage students and encourage participation. Being present and available fosters connection and socialization, building a stronger, more resilient community where students can learn from and support each other through stressful times.
